Capital campaign renderings, before the design is finished

Donors and the community want to see the new building long before detailed design produces images of it. Olade makes concept visuals from the plans, massing, and early material you already have, clearly labelled as artist's concept, for donor meetings, events, and the public campaign.

Campaigns start before design does

A capital campaign usually opens while the building is still in planning. Major donors are asked to commit early, and the community hears about the project well before construction.

Detailed design, and the architectural images that come with it, can be a year or more away. Until then, a campaign has site plans, massing diagrams, and a story, but nothing people can picture.

Concept visuals fill that gap. They show the building as currently planned, with light, landscape, and people, and they're labelled as concept so nobody mistakes them for final design.

Built from your plans, labelled as concept

The design stays exactly as drawn. We add the light, landscape, and life, with no 3D model and no shoot.

  • We start from what exists

Site plan, massing, floor plans, and any early images you already have.

  • The building stays as planned

We add light, landscape, people, and atmosphere around it.

  • Every image is labelled

Marked as artist's concept, so no one mistakes it for final design.

  • It moves with the design

When the plans change, we update the views rather than starting over.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Send what you have

Site plan, massing, floor plans, any early images, and the spaces and dates that matter most to the campaign.

  2. Step 2

    First views

About three weeks from receiving your material. If a date is coming up sooner, a single hero view can be ready first.

  3. Step 3

    Review in two rounds

You see the work before it's final and send notes twice. Every note is answered, and nothing ships until you approve it.

  4. Step 4

    Delivery

Every file in the sizes each use needs: print, screens, social, and presentations.

Ways to start

Three sizes of engagement. Each one builds on the last.

  1. Option 1

    Hero set

Three or four finished views: the building on its site and the interiors that matter most.

    Good for early donor conversations.

  2. Option 2

    Campaign set

Six to eight views with day and dusk variants, plus a 60 second film built from them.

Good for events and community sessions.

  3. Option 3

    Full campaign kit

The campaign set plus short clips, print and social imagery, and an editable presentation template.

Good for a public campaign launch.

Phasing works well: start with the hero set now, and add film and imagery when the campaign goes public, without redoing anything.

Who it's for

  • Hospital and health care foundations

Capital campaigns for new hospitals, wings, and redevelopments.

  • University and college advancement teams

New buildings and major renovations that need donor support before design is complete.

  • Cultural and community institutions

Museums, galleries, libraries, and community centres raising funds for a new home.

  • Architects supporting a campaign

Concept visuals that stay true to your design while the design work continues.

Common questions

Do you need a finished design?

No. We work from what exists: site plans, massing, floor plans, and early images. The visuals show the building as currently planned and are labelled as concept.

What if the design changes?

We update the affected views rather than starting over, so the campaign keeps using them as the design develops.

How are the images labelled?

Every image and film is marked as artist's concept, on the image itself where it will be seen, so no one mistakes it for final design.

Can the images be used on hoarding, signage, and in print?

Yes. Files are delivered at print resolution alongside screen, social, and presentation sizes.

Do you work with our architect?

Yes. We build from the architect's drawings and share views for their review, so the concept stays true to the design.

What does it cost?

It depends on the number of views and whether you need film and campaign imagery. Many campaigns start with a few hero views and add the rest when the campaign goes public. Book a short call and we'll scope it.

Not sure which of these you need? That's what the call is for.
